A road traffic injury weather it occurred as a driver, passenger or pedestrian, can have a big impact on your life. Aside from the pain of physical injury, there’s the psychological shock of being hurt suddenly and unexpectedly.

If you’ve been hurt by another drivers negligence, we can help you get the recovery support and road accident compensation you need. If you have suffered a whiplash injury or an injury that is valued at below £5000 and your special damages do not exceed an additional £5000 Ram Legal Services can represent you in making a claim for compensation using the Official Injury Claims Service. We can represent you on a No Win No Fee* basis. If we are successful we will deduct 25% inclusive of VAT from any award that you receive. For example if we obtain £1000 from the third party insurer you will receive £750 and we will receive £250. If you do not wish to use a legal representative you can make a claim yourself using the official injury claims portal which can be found at www.officialinjuryclaim.org.uk.

If you decide to instruct us as legal representatives we will process your claim to the third party insurer via the official injury claims portal. Once liability has been established we will arrange a medical examination for your injuries and any rehabilitation/treatment that you require. We will negotiate an appropriate settlement for your injuries, lost earnings, out of pocket expenses and vehicle damages to settle your claim.


If your injuries are valued at over £5000 or your special damages exceed £5000 and the third party driver holds a valid insurance policy your claim will fall outside of the scope of the official injury claims service. This also applies if you were a vulnerable road user such as a cyclist or pedestrian. When cases can not be processed via the official injury claims process RAM Legal Services can recommend the services of one of our panel solicitors who can recover compensation for your injuries, lost earnings, out of pocket expenses and arrange any rehabilitation/treatment that you may require.
